Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong Python development skills in Linux-based environments.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: design, testing, performance.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve complex technical problems.
• Experience operating production systems in a business‑critical setting.
• Proficiency with source control and CI/CD tools (Git/GitLab).
• Strong SQL and data processing capabilities.
• Quickly learn new technologies, domains and data models.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to drive work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platforms for themed index/benchmark solutions in FICC.
• Design scalable, reliable software using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product, research and index teams to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot production, data and application issues with root-cause analysis.
• Drive platform modernization, including cloud adoption and deployment improvements.
• Enhance quality, automation and operations with testing, reviews and CI/CD.
• Work across Python, Linux, cloud tech and legacy applications.
• Take ownership from design through production support.
