  • Strong Python development skills and experience working in Linux-based environments, demonstrated hands‑on programming experience and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, testing, code quality, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently investigate and solve complex technical problems.
  • Experience developing and supporting production systems in a business‑critical environment.
  • Experience working with source control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, GitLab).
  • Strong SQL and data processing experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, business domains, and data models.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive work independently.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Desirable but not essential: Experience developing solutions within financial services, market data, index management, quantitative research, or investment management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud‑native application architecture.
  • Proven track record of building scalable data platforms, analytics tools, or workflow automation solutions.
  • Exposure to real‑time or near real‑time systems, event‑driven architectures, or low‑latency data processing environments.
