Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming, scripting, and debugging skills.
• Expert SQL including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions.
• Linux/Unix experience with shell scripting and log analysis.
• Kafka experience for event-driven data processing and streaming.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Proficient in Git and version control practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based backend solutions.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries with multi-join and nested structures.
• Tune SQL performance and troubleshoot database issues.
• Process large data volumes using relational databases and ETL-style tasks.
• Develop scripts and batch jobs in Linux environments.
