Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming, scripting, and debugging skills.
• Highly proficient in SQL with complex queries and optimisation.
• Linux/Unix experience, shell scripting and log analysis.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and backend solutions.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries across multiple tables and data sources.
• Tune SQL performance and troubleshoot database issues.
