Content Guru Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Applications Engineering team at our Head Office in Bracknell, Berkshire. With a focus on AI-powered solutions, you will apply your strong Python and software engineering experience to build high-quality applications for our mission-critical communications platform.

You will design, develop and maintain applications and services, write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, mentor engineers and take ownership

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial Python experience and AI-powered solution delivery.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with version control, testing and modern development practices.
• Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications and services, with a focus on Python and AI-powered functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release and deployment activities.
• Investigate technical issues and support maintenance and improvement of applications.
• Take ownership of complex development work and mentor less experienced engineers.
