BWB Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Python Developer to lead the optimization engine behind our warehouse design workflow. You’ll transform design rules and Excel processes into robust software, working with engineers and tender teams to improve options and cut tender production times.

This hands-on role focuses on delivering reliable, well-tested code with clear documentation, while integrating Python with Excel and validating outputs to support engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python programming for business environments.
• Strong data processing with pandas/NumPy.
• Experience automating complex spreadsheet workflows and integrating with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Python engine for design optimisation and tender production.
• Translate engineering logic and design rules into modular, reusable code.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate outputs and support adoption of the solution.
• Ensure testing, version control and documentation accompany releases.
