Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Remote - 2 days a month in Birmingham

£60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience

Excellent opportunity for a front-end software engineer with strong JS framework skills (React or Vue) and Python skills to join a fast-growing, tech-focused start-up company, that has just gone through another round of funding and offers a unique autonomous remote role to help shape the company's growth.

This company specializes in Data Engineering, Data Science, and Training Services and has recently secured an additional $525,000 in funding to accelerate growth. They have collaborated with well-known brands like GymShark, Royal Bank of Scotland, Snowflake, and SKY. This is a new position created through growth, offering you the chance to make a significant impact on the company's future.

In this role, you will lead the engineering team in technical design discussions and work closely with the CTO and Product team to develop solutions for critical business challenges. The role is primarily remote, but requires two days per month on-site in Birmingham (usually the first Thursday and Friday).

The ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python skills and experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue. Leadership experience in small teams is a plus.
