Xelix, a fast-growing fintech-scale-up, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join the back-end team in London. You will build robust Python services, design REST APIs with Django or Flask, and collaborate with AI engineers to handle large data sets.

The role focuses on clean, tested code and owning features from design through delivery. We offer a competitive salary and hybrid work, with opportunities to grow into Team Lead, Project Lead, or Staff Engineer roles as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Python coding experience.
• Ability to learn and apply new technology quickly.
• Strong communication of complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Django and Django Rest Framework, or Flask.
• Degree in Computer Science (or similar) at 2:1 or above.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust, scalable solutions in Python.
• Design and develop REST APIs to support front-end components.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers on large data sets and performance improvements.
• Ensure code quality with comprehensive tests and code reviews.
