Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Senior Python / Automation Engineer on a 12-month hybrid contract (Inside IR35) to help shape enterprise automation using AI. You will build and maintain automation solutions, extend agent-based systems and RAG capabilities, and own the full software lifecycle in live environments.

The role emphasizes production readiness, API design, SQL data processing, Git/CI-CD, and exposure to LangChain/LangGraph with Azure/OpenAI technologies.

Qualifications

• Software engineer with strong Python development experience.
• Familiarity with LLMs and Generative AI concepts, including LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs; proficient in SQL and data processing.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust automation solutions that streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend existing agent-based solutions and RAG implementations.
• Take ownership of the full software lifecycle: build, deploy, monitor, and tune solutions in a live environment.
• Ensure production maturity by transitioning solutions from proof of concept to fully operational systems.
• Apply your knowledge of AI concepts pragmatically within a primarily automation-focused environment.
