Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior Engineer – Python Automation to drive enterprise automation initiatives and advance the Reporting Center of Excellence. You will own the lifecycle of automation projects, from intake to production, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring governance adherence.

The role emphasizes Python excellence, collaboration, and the ability to optimize diverse data sources and ERP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.
• 3+ years of Python development experience (or MS in above subjects + 0-2 years).
• Advanced abilities in Python and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Preferred experience: R, SQL, Java, C++, C#, HTML, Selenium, Power Automate and CoPilot, Studio for Agent Building, Snowflake or other Data Warehouses, PowerBI or dashboards, IPA, Anaplan (or similar cubes), D365.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end automation solutions following governance standards.
• Review automation outputs with team lead to ensure objectives.
• Build sustainability documentation and contribute to team training.
• Maintain 500+ existing automation processes for reliability.
• Lead meetings with business partners to identify automation opportunities.
