Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Talking Therapies Halton leadership team. The role focuses on supporting Step 2 provision, developing services, and delivering low intensity CBT to clients in one-to-one and group settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in a mental health field (e.g., Psychology).
• Postgraduate certificate in Primary Care Mental Health Practice or equivalent.
• Registration with BABCP or BPS and training in a high intensity modality.

Responsibilities

• Lead on step 2 development within Talking Therapies Halton service.
• Provide reduced low intensity caseload and deliver CBT to clients individually and in groups.
• Provide clinical case management and supervise trainees.
• Develop and deliver training in innovative practice to Step 2 practitioners.
• Collaborate with primary and secondary care and external organisations.
