Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join Talking Therapies Liverpool. You will support Step 2 development, manage a reduced low-intensity caseload, and deliver evidence-based CBT to individuals and groups.

The role involves cross-team collaboration, training, and potential supervision within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. The post is a part-time secondment with Mersey Care, focusing on improving access to primary care

Qualifications

• Post-qualification experience delivering IAPT low-intensity interventions.
• Experience in delivering one-to-one and group CBT-based sessions.
• Ability to work with interpreters and diverse client groups.

Responsibilities

• Support Step 2 development within a high-pressured environment.
• Hold a reduced low-intensity caseload delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Lead on nominated core tasks such as courses or supervision.
• Develop training in innovative practices for Step 2 practitioners.
• Build links with Primary and Secondary Care and external organisations.
• Provide clinical case management and supervise Step 2 PWPs and trainees.
