We are looking for an experienced Senior Pursuits Manager who will report into the Head of Client Pursuits and sit within our Sales and Business Development team. The role will provide first class pursuit support to our UK team, on both the public and private sector opportunities for many of the industry’s biggest and most exciting clients.

This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for early win strategy development, through to the development of client centric proposals and pitch presentations for a variety of opportunities.

What this job involves

  • Monitoring of pursuit processes, performance and client feedback to identify ways to continuously improve pursuits and ways of working
  • Working alongside Business Development and Pursuits Lead to build relationships with key senior stakeholders to understand pipeline of opportunities and priorities
  • Preparing and leading client research and strategy workshops, including client analysis, key drivers, competitor analysis, solution development and value proposition
  • Assessing and qualifying client opportunities and leading go no go conversations
  • Working alongside wider client markets group including marketing and research to create a seamless solution for clients throughout the sales cycle
  • Developing a strong understanding of solutions offered, how they meet client objectives and considers the wider services offered by JLL
  • Strategic thinking and ability to lead and challenge teams on large, strategically important and/or complex multidisciplinary pursuits
  • Leading production of both written and creative pursuits documents to create client centric and compelling proposals that clearly describe the solution and benefits
  • Co-ordinating appropriate input and content from subject matter experts across various teams, challenging them on content to ensure client centric and benefit led
  • Preparing and coaching the SMEs for pitches and interviews
  • Presenting insights, data and outcomes at board level
  • Contribution to bid libraries and collateral development
  • Collaboration with wider Sales and BD team on ongoing initiatives and training programmes

You should have demonstrable experience of:

  • Working collaboratively with and influencing a broad range of senior stakeholders
  • Leading and managing large/strategic pursuits, whilst implementing the full bid process
  • Utilising data and insights to track performance and advise on improvement strategies
  • Problem solving, identifying and understanding key client issues and developing innovative and compelling solutions
  • Persuasive writing, producing presentations and coaching for pitches/interviews
  • Experience of working in collaboration with designers to create client centric documents and presentations
  • Working on multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Mentoring of more junior colleagues
  • Professional services or real estate preferred
  • Using CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred
