Synchronicity Care Ltd, a subsidiary of County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, seeks a senior procurement lead to drive end-to-end projects, tender exercises, and framework utilisation. You will mentor staff, shape procurement policy, and ensure governance compliance across diverse spend categories.

The role is hybrid, with travel to sites across County Durham and Darlington on demand, supporting strategic objectives and value-for-money outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver value-driven procurement solutions.
• Experience leading complex tenders and framework-based procurements.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in procurement and contract management.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end procurement projects from inception to contract award.
• Run competitive tenders and maximise use of framework agreements.
• Ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and governance.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to deliver value.
• Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
• Develop procurement strategies and forward plans.
• Identify savings and sustainable efficiencies through market analysis.
• Improve procurement policies, documents and processes.
• Mentor colleagues within the procurement team.
