Job summary

NHS Fife Public Health is seeking an experienced Public Health Programme Lead to head a Fife-wide programme aimed at reducing poverty, improving population health, and addressing wider determinants of health. The role involves strategic leadership, policy influence, and collaboration across NHS Fife, local authorities, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification to Master's level in Public Health, Health Promotion or a related field.
• Experience in policy development and implementation, programme management and cross-sector collaboration.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a Fife-wide programme focused on reducing poverty, improving population health, and addressing wider determinants of health.
• Provide specialist public health advice, strategic leadership, and oversight of programmes and initiatives.
• Collaborate with NHS Fife, Fife HSCP, Fife Council, and partners to influence policy and drive improvements.
