Job summary

Wilderness Way in England is seeking a Senior Psychotherapist to join our residential services and lead a growing Clinical Team delivering life‑changing therapeutic support to children and young people. You will provide clinical supervision, manage a small caseload focused on trauma‑informed care, and deliver training across teams.

The role demands a Masters‑level qualification and registration with BACP, UKCP or HCPC, plus at least five years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working with children and young people, including looked-after children, in trauma-informed settings.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 5+ years working with children and young people, ideally those who are looked‑after. Strong grounding in trauma‑informed approaches.

Skills: Excellent safeguarding knowledge, confident in risk assessment, and well‑versed in therapeutic frameworks. Clear communicator and able to work flexibly.

Qualifications: Masters-level therapy qualification and registration with BACP / UKCP / HCPC.
