Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Eastbourne seeks a Principal Psychologist / Psychological Therapist to provide expert psychological input within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes offering consultation, assessments (ideally including neuropsychological assessment) and short-term interventions, while contributing to training and supervision of staff.

The post holder will develop psychological thinking and interventions across the team and support reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Registration with HCPC as a psychologist would be expected.
• Experience in training and supervising other staff is advantageous.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and deliver psychological services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure multidisciplinary teams have access to psychological input and opinion.
• Contribute to development of psychological thinking, understanding and interventions.
• Provide consultation, assessments (including neuropsychological), and focused short-term interventions.
• Contribute to training and clinical supervision of other staff and reflective practice opportunities.
