Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with complex CoSUM presentations. The post includes specialist staff consultation, enabling integrated care planning across treatment systems and local services.

The role supports referrals, service development, audit and workforce training, while promoting trauma-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Specialist psychological assessment experience is required.
• Formulation skills and intervention planning.
• Experience in trauma-informed practice is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people with complex CoSUM presentations.
• Provide specialist consultation to staff regarding mental health needs of CoSUM service users across treatment systems.
• Support referral pathways and access to mental health services.
• Facilitate joint case management and integrated care planning.
• Contribute to service development, audit, evaluation and workforce training.
• Help shape culture change and improve experience of care for people with co-occurring conditions across the local system.
• Provide supervision and consultation responsibilities as appropriate.
• Travel regularly across Norfolk in line with service requirements.
