The Clinical Psychologist post sits within the psychology team of the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust and works within Change Grow Live's drug and alcohol service in Norfolk on a three-year contract.

You will deliver specialist assessment, formulation and intervention for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use difficulties, alongside staff consultation and cross-service liaison. Travel across the county is required.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in clinical psychology accredited by the BPS, or equivalent if trained before 1996.
• Supervisor training to supervise doctoral clinical psychology trainees, or willingness to undertake it.
• Registered as a practitioner psychologist with the HCPC.

Responsabilités

• Deliver specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for people with complex co-occurring presentations.
• Provide specialist consultation on the mental health needs of service users to staff in both treatment systems.
• Facilitate joint case management and integrated care planning.
• Support referral pathways and access to mental health services.
• Contribute to service development, audit, evaluation and workforce training.
• Help shape culture change and improve the experience of care for people with co-occurring conditions across the local system.
• Provide supervision and consultation as appropriate.
• Maintain high professional standards and evidence-based, trauma-informed practice.
• Travel regularly across Norfolk in line with service requirements.
