Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to work 0.6 WTE within Intensive Outreach pathways in the Core Community Mental Health Teams in Barnet. The role focuses on relationship-building, reflective practice and collaborative working with GPs, MDTs and housing/social services.

• MBBS or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are required.
• Demonstrated ability in leadership and teaching is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant input and clinical leadership to the local Intensive Outreach pathway within the Core Community Mental Health Teams.
• Carry out assessments, management plans, risk assessments, and liaise with GPs and primary care teams.
• Engage with service users, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in governance processes and develop clinical pathways and priorities for the service line.
• Ensure compliance with Mental Health Act and related duties.
