Job Description
Role: Senior Protection & Control Engineer
Sector: Transmission
Location: Glasgow / Inverness - Hybrid - Site & Factory Visits as well as Infrequent Attendance in the Office
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until End of December + Possible Extensions
Rates: Up to £850 Daily Rate D.O.E Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS (DBS, Financial Probity, Employment History) + Medical Questionnaire & Proof of Right to Work in the UK
Overview
Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the Network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault, and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible. We work in all hours, and through all weathers, ensuring our customers are never without power. Within Operations, the Strategic Investment Group is a focused team that design and deliver a wide range of construction projects within the UK. The team specialises in the design and construction of electrical projects on its distribution networks ranging from 6.6kV to 132kV.
