Senior Propositions Manager
18-month FTC
Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for developing customer-centric propositions and delivering meaningful outcomes? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can support a high-performing team and ensure excellent product delivery?
We’re looking for a Senior Propositions Manager to join our Individual Annuities team on an 18-month fixed term contract, covering business-as-usual activity while a colleague supports a project.
A bit about the job:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a skilled and collaborative team responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of product plans and roadmaps across our Individual Annuities portfolio.
You’ll be accountable for managing day-to-day proposition delivery, including product governance and ensuring adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards. You'll also play a vital role in coaching, supporting, and developing your team—ensuring they are empowered to thrive and grow.
This is a hands-on delivery role that will suit someone who enjoys managing detail, solving problems, and working collaboratively across teams to achieve results.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
A strong background in proposition development and product governance, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
A customer-first mindset and practical understanding of Consumer Duty—with the ability to balance good customer outcomes with commercial and risk considerations.
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business areas.
Confidence working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines with accountability for key outputs.
What you’ll get for this role:
Salary – National Circa £55,000 / London Circa £65,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary, actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s
