Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Proposals Advisor to prepare proposals/bids, negotiate contracts and assess commercial risk. You will develop a long-term market vision for a product line and lead business development planning for this market.

The role requires a technical background in Oil & Gas, 5+ years in proposals, and strong communication with customers. Flexibility in working with cross-functional teams is essential, with a focus on delivering shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposals, commercial & tendering.
• Technical background with understanding of Oil & Gas industry.
• Organised problem solving with strong analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and may negotiate with customers to ensure shareholder value.
• Handle products and systems requiring thorough technical knowledge and market adaptation.
• Manage complex sales processes with involvement of many stakeholders.
• Coordinate sales teams including engineering, legal, risk, and finance.
• Manage big or challenging markets or multi-country opportunities.
