The Role

The successful candidate will support the sales function of Portchester’s Marine Geophysical Service Line within the Europe and Africa Marine Site Characteristic Business Line. You will play a key role in delivering profitable project opportunities for the Service Line and Fugro overall.

Your responsibilities include proposal preparation and delivery, contract negotiation, and client management for business acquisition. You will be the first contact point for clients, building relationships across European and African projects, expanding your network internally and externally to enhance your commercial awareness alongside your technical knowledge.

Additional duties involve client engagement to understand and support their needs, keeping them informed about Fugro’s technical developments and value propositions, and developing strong business relationships. You will also support project and business performance reviews to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and continuous improvement.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek a Senior Proposal Manager with advanced technical knowledge of offshore Geophysical operations or data, and excellent communication skills at all levels. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and capable of managing workload and deadlines efficiently. Experience in preparing marine survey proposals in hydrographic, geophysical, or inspection disciplines is essential. You should be a problem solver with a strong desire to succeed and a team-oriented mindset.
