Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Estates Senior Property and Leasing Manager to join our Estates & Facilities team. This senior role leads the operational and tactical management of our diverse property portfolio, ensuring optimal, financially efficient estates for patients, staff and visitors.

You will oversee lease events, rent reviews, and strategic property decisions while supporting long-term planning and delivering projects across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading lease negotiations and renewals.
• Experience managing LIFT, PFI and leasehold estates.
• Ability to provide expert property advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex lease negotiations, renewals and landlord discussions with focus on best value.
• Manage a varied portfolio including LIFT, PFI and leasehold arrangements.
• Oversee rent, service charge and property budgets with strong financial control.
• Lead on Heads of Terms development and strategic property decisions.
• Drive estate optimisation and portfolio reviews for long-term planning.
• Manage lease events including break clauses, expiries and rent reviews.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders and stakeholders across the Trust.
• Lead and deliver property-related projects and workstreams.
• Deputise for the Head of Land & Property when required.
