Job summary

Business Money Promotions Ltd is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Property Finance/Asset Based Lending team in Manchester or Leeds. You will assess complex credit risk, structure deals using available assets, and support senior management in maintaining a robust risk framework.

You will review financial statements, contribute to training, and collaborate with business development to structure new proposals while ensuring facilities comply with credit policy and appetite.

Qualifications

• Experience in property backed lending or Asset Based Lending
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
• Coaching and developing colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new propositions within your mandate
• Support risk director to maintain robust risk framework
• Act as 1st underwriter/due diligence support for deals outside mandate
• Provide underwriting and credit risk training
• Support Business Development in structuring new proposals
• Ensure facilities align with credit policy and appetite
