Job summary

Boden Group is seeking a Senior Property & Workplace Manager to join the Manchester/Leeds based team. You’ll oversee a regional property and workplace portfolio across multiple sites, leading a team of six, and balancing commercial priorities with people and workplace needs.

You’ll bring strong CRE experience with leases, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals and re-gears, plus IFRS 16 knowledge. The role offers significant stakeholder exposure and opportunities to shape strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full CRE transaction lifecycle, including LOIs and lease documentation.
• Work with legal, property and construction consultants.
• Support construction procurement, tendering and contractor appointments.

• Lead workplace strategy and performance across the portfolio.
• Manage senior stakeholders and balance commercial priorities with workplace needs.
• Oversee suppliers and FM performance without day-to-day PPM activity.

Senior Property & Workplace Manager

Based Manchester OR Leeds / Northern UK Portfolio | £65,000 - £80,000 (+ package) DOE | Regional Travel (6 sites approx. 1500 staff)

We’re partnering with a highly successful, people-focused technology business to find a Senior Property & Workplace Manager who can bring together the commercial, technical and human sides of property.

This is a broad leadership role, but one thing is essential: you need to know corporate real estate properly.

Real estate may represent less than 40% of the day-to-day workload, but the technical competency behind it is fundamental. You’ll need strong experience across leases, rent reviews, breaks, acquisitions, disposals, re-gears and property searches, alongside the ability to lead a high-performing workplace function.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take senior responsibility for a regional property and workplace portfolio across locations including Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle and Dublin, while leading a team of six.

Your remit will include:

• Managing lease events, renewals, rent reviews, breaks, exits and disposals
• Supporting searches, acquisitions and new office openings
• Managing the full CRE transaction lifecycle, including LOIs, Agreements for Lease and lease documentation
• Working with legal, property and construction consultants
• Supporting construction procurement, tendering and contractor appointments
• Applying a practical understanding of IFRS 16
• Leading workplace strategy and performance across the portfolio
• Managing senior stakeholders and balancing commercial priorities with workplace needs
• Overseeing suppliers and FM performance without being buried in day-to-day PPM activity

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally come from a corporate real estate, occupier property or combined Property & Workplace background, with:

• Strong commercial lease and CRE transaction experience
• Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters
• Experience across acquisitions, disposals, re-gears, rent reviews and breaks
• Understanding of IFRS 16
• Experience managing consultants, contractors and property projects
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Confidence working with demanding senior stakeholders

MRICS, IWFM or similar qualifications would be useful, but strong technical property experience matters more.
