AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor to join the South West team, delivering cost management services across multiple projects from inception to completion. The role can be based in Bristol or Cardiff with a hybrid work model and involves mentoring graduates and apprentices.

You will lead cost management commissions, manage teams, develop client relationships, and ensure outputs meet time and quality standards on projects valued from £5m to £100m across Higher Education, Public Sector,

As a Senior Project Surveyor you will work as part of the team to help deliver all aspects of quantity surveying from inception of a project through to completion. You will work on a number of projects, varying in complexity, ranging in value from £5m - £100m. These projects will be from a range of sectors, with our current active sectors being Higher Education, Public Sector, Defence, Residential and Infrastructure.

Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants. The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Cost Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional team.

Joining our South West team, this role can be based from either our Bristol or Cardiff offices.

Your tasks will include but not be limited to the following;

Here's what we're looking for:

As the successful applicant you will have the following experience and qualifications.

• Previous experience of managing internal resources, including the training and mentoring of more junior staff members.
• Good Understanding of contracts (JCT and NEC).
• Supporter of social and CSR activities, promoting a positive and enjoyable workplace.
• Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel.
• CSCS card holder

Preferred Qualifications

• Professionally Qualified – Chartered Status with the RICS or other equivalent institution is preferred.
• Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management or similar construction related undergraduate degree.
