Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Project Risk Management Lead to identify, assess, manage and report risks across major projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk, you will lead risk processes, develop risk plans and facilitate workshops with project teams and clients.

You will mentor junior risk professionals, promote best practices, and ensure governance across the project lifecycle in a global energy, infrastructure and EPC/EPCM context.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years' experience in project risk management within engineering, construction, energy, infrastructure, or major project environments.
• Strong experience facilitating project risk workshops and risk identification activities.
• Advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience leading or mentoring risk management professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and maintenance of project risk management processes across assigned projects and regional activities.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project Risk Management Plans, Risk Registers, and associated documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate risk identification workshops and ensure risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions are effectively captured and managed.
• Support Risk Owners in the development of risk response strategies and action plans.
• Conduct and facilitate qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain risk models, analyse outputs, and communicate findings to project and business stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and coaching to project teams on risk management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Worley risk management procedures, standards, and governance requirements.
• Monitor project risk performance and identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities requiring management attention.
• Support business development opportunities relating to risk management services and capability.
• Participate in regional and global risk management forums, councils, and improvement initiatives.
• Deliver risk management training, workshops, and awareness sessions to project and functional teams.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development support to junior risk management professionals.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams, clients, and key stakeholders to promote proactive risk management and informed decision-making.
• Promote continuous improvement of risk management systems, processes, and methodologies across the business.
