Job summary

PSR Solutions in London is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a major warehouse refurbishment and fit-out project. You will lead commercial and contractual activities from procurement to final account, liaising with the project team on cost control and cash flow.

You will prepare subcontractor packages, monitor costs, manage variations and notices, and contribute to CVR reporting. This role requires strong negotiation and collaboration within a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Strong commercial and subcontractor management experience.
• Experience in refurbishment, industrial, warehouse or large-scale fit-out projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of groundworks, precast concrete and M&E packages would be beneficial.
• Strong contractual, negotiation and cost-control skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced London construction project

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual aspects from procurement through to final account.
• Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, including tendering, procurement, valuations and payments.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial risks.
• Manage variations, change control and contractual notices.
• Undertake cost reporting, forecasting and CVR reporting.
• Administer subcontractor accounts and negotiate final accounts.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, site team and supply chain to maintain commercial performance.
• Ensure contractual compliance and maintain accurate commercial records.
