Job summary

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue is recruiting a Project and Programme Manager for the CAPITAL Programmes Section at SYFR Headquarters in Sheffield. The role manages property programmes from business case to handover, reporting to senior stakeholders and ensuring value for money within framework agreements.

You will lead CAPITAL workstreams, maintain health and safety compliance, and oversee budget controls for planned estates projects.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a relevant project management qualification and have extensive live environment experience.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and Building Regulations.
• Experience with Asset Management principles and CAPITAL Budget/Programmes management.

Responsibilities

• Produce planning and project documentation from business case through to delivery and handover.
• Report project status and communicate to senior stakeholders via formal reporting processes.
• Lead CAPITAL programming workstreams and deliver planned annual estates projects.
• Ensure Health & Safety and budget control across projects.
