Job summary

Crown House Technologies in Birmingham is recruiting a Senior Project Planner to shape the Great Grid Project. You will develop, manage and control project programmes across the full lifecycle, collaborating with leadership, clients and supply chain to support delivery, commercial performance and risk management.

Initially based in Birmingham during pre-construction, the role moves to a hybrid pattern from Q3 2027, with site and office work as construction progresses through to 2031.

Qualifications

• Significant planning experience on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to influence teams and provide strategic programme advice.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, planning techniques and contract planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and project controls function throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain and manage integrated project programmes from pre-construction through delivery.
• Produce contract, construction, procurement and short-term programmes to support delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop efficient construction strategies.
• Monitor progress, analyse programme performance and advise mitigation actions.
• Provide programme advice to leadership on commercial and contractual implications.
• Coordinate programme information with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Support resource planning and mentoring of planning professionals.
