Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to lead scheduling and project controls on major UK engineering programmes from Warwick, with hybrid working and UK-wide travel.

You will partner with Project Managers and engineering teams to keep complex portfolios on track, applying EVM, CP analysis, and forecasting, while delivering meaningful reports to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex engineering projects.
• Experience in project controls and scheduling.
• Ability to report to senior stakeholders and support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage complex project schedules across multiple engineering programmes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to reflect progress and delivery commitments.
• Identify schedule risks and recovery opportunities.
• Apply Earned Value Management, CP analysis, and forecasting techniques.
• Produce meaningful project reporting for commercial and operational decisions.
• Support change management and schedule recovery.
• Coach teams on planning best practice.
