Job summary

Laing O'Rourke in Tilbury is seeking a Senior Project Planner to develop, manage and monitor project programmes, providing strategic and commercial insight to drive milestones and successful delivery.

You will direct planning, scheduling and coordination across tender, design, procurement and construction, analyse progress, mitigate risks, and collaborate with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams to ensure effective delivery.

  • Experience in pre-contract planning, tendering, and construction sequencing.

Senior Project Planner

The Senior Project Planner is accountable for developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes to ensure successful delivery. This position provides strategic and commercial insight into programme performance and facilitates the project team in achieving critical milestones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct planning, scheduling, and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain contract and construction programmes
  • Ensure all programmes align with project requirements and business plans
