Project Planner required to join a medium-sized engineering company delivering mission-critical solutions.

The Senior Project Planner will manage the planning and monitoring of projects throughout all stages. They will collaborate with the project team to develop efficient project methodologies and ensure timely delivery of projects.

The successful candidate will be an expert in Primavera P6 software with previous project planning experience, ideally in infrastructure projects.

The Package:

Salary – £45,000 - £55,000
37 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00 and Fri 08:30-16:30

The Role:

1. Create, update, and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
2. Conduct project controls including cost forecasting, earned value management, risk assessment, and change control.
3. Provide schedule analysis and reporting.
4. Prepare and deliver project progress reports and analysis.
5. Collaborate with project teams to provide scheduling advice, support change management, and resolve scheduling issues.
6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Requirements:

• Expert user of Primavera P6 software.
• Understanding of infrastructure project design, construction, and commissioning.
• Ability to define project schedules and plan clearly.
• Strong knowledge of project control principles, including budget management, change control, data analysis, and trend analysis.
• APMG Project Planning & Control Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
