Job summary

We are looking for an expert Principal/Regional Project Planner to join our Expanded team on work-winning.

As a Principal Project Planner, you will develop Programme Strategies for clients and apply your knowledge of processes and techniques essential for strategic planning and project success.

What will the role look like?

• Ensuring all programmes comply with project requirements and developing a logical sequence of events to adopt the most economical/advantageous construction strategy.
• Carrying out pre-contract planning and work-winning processes to produce bid programmes and related time information as part of tender bids.
• Analyzing performance data, advising the project team on impacts, and recommending improvements.
• Contributing to the assessment of risks, opportunities, and commercial implications of tender bids.
• Presenting time-related material using various techniques for effective communication and high-quality submissions.
• Managing contracts for complex projects through independent processes and systems.
• Performing forensic analysis of programme data and building relationships with client teams.
• Applying comprehensive contract knowledge to align control measures with risks and optimize commercial opportunities.
• Developing and implementing advanced project management techniques for use on complex projects.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• CIOB Membership.
• High-standard modelling and 4D planning skills, with proficiency in Asta or P6.
• Experience with major projects.
• Ability to analyze, collate, and utilize data for reporting and forecasting.
• Skill in prioritizing tasks and assessing accuracy requirements.
• Lateral thinking to identify trends/issues in production data.
