Working Location(s): London, Berlin

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 5 days a week (Minimum 2 days in the office)

Main Purpose of Job

The Senior Project Manager SMA role is within the O&M department of the Offshore Renewables business, working on the Windanker project. The role involves overseeing the O&M package post-FID, including contract control, monitoring OPEX, recruitment, and developing operational processes. The focus is on supporting SMA negotiations with wind turbine suppliers, especially on technical schedules, RFIs, and logistics strategy.

Key Tasks

1. Ensure project requirements comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
2. Assist in SMA negotiations, focusing on technical requirements.
3. Organize and follow up on negotiation meetings with WTG suppliers.
4. Update and draft SMA technical schedules, identifying risks and escalation items.
5. Obtain RFIs for OPEX forecasts and develop logistics strategies.
6. Develop BoP contracting strategies in collaboration with Purchasing.
7. Support the development of the overall O&M strategy.
8. Gather lessons learned for continuous improvement.
9. Perform project management activities such as reporting, planning, risk, and resource management.

Key Criteria

Essential:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to set objectives.
• Timely update of technical schedules and strategic proposals.
• Experience in multimillion-pound contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in multicultural settings.
• Knowledge of offshore wind operations, H&S legislation, and multidisciplinary interface management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and meeting organization.

Desirable:

• Minimum five years offshore wind experience or relevant discipline.
• Offshore wind experience preferred.
• HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH/IOSH.

Internal stakeholders include Project Managers, Asset Integrity, Commercial, H&S, Technical Services, Site Managers, and Operations staff.
