Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Dumfries branch. You will manage multiple projects across the UKWWS, including audits, delivery, cost control and client liaison.

The role requires a driving licence, engineering background, NEC3/NEC4 experience, and a track record delivering engineering projects on time. You will lead field technicians and contribute to profitable project reviews.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license is required.
• Engineering background preferred.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts is desirable.
• Background in M&E or construction projects is important.
• Track record of delivering engineering projects to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from high value/low volume to high volume/low value.
• Visit customer sites, conduct audits, manage field technician teams.
• Own project management from quotes/approval to delivery, cost control, supplier engagement and invoicing.
• Liaise with customers and manage relationships.
• Lead field technicians, manage work orders and planning including critical path.
• Lead commercial project reviews and agree terms for new projects.
• Monitor costs and report across projects.
• Identify risks in scope/terms and develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare monthly status/KPI reports on profitability and performance.
• Maximise sales opportunities by engaging customers and offering innovative solutions.
• Apply a consultative, problem-solving approach delivering engineering solutions.
