Job summary

Hydro International is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Dumfries branch. You will manage multiple projects end-to-end, oversee field teams, ensure on-time delivery and profitability, and liaise directly with customers to drive successful outcomes.

The role requires an engineering background, driving licence, and proficiency with NEC3/4 contracts. It offers a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current driving licence is required.
• Engineering background preferred.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Background in M&E or construction projects.
• Proven track record delivering engineering projects to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, from high volume, low value to high value, low volume.
• Visit customer sites, carry out audits, manage teams of field technicians.
• Own project management from quotes/approval through delivery and invoicing, including cost control and supplier engagement.
• Liaise with customers and manage relationships directly.
• Lead planning of field teams, RAMS, and critical path.
• Lead commercial reviews and set terms for new projects.
• Monitor costs and report on profitability across projects.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Publish monthly status/KPI reports on performance and revenue planning.
• Maximise sales opportunities by offering innovative solutions and engineering inputs.
• Provide consultative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
