Job summary

Mace in Warrington is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale water infrastructure programmes, interfacing with clients, suppliers and internal teams across the project lifecycle.

You will own plans from inception to handover, manage risks and budgets, and ensure compliance with NEC3/4 contracts, HSE standards and sustainability goals. Driving collaboration and delivering value for the client are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction and/or project management; PMQ is desirable.
• Membership of a relevant institute (ICE/IMeche/IET/IChemE/RICS) or equivalent.
• 10+ years project management experience in the water or regulated infrastructure sector.
• Familiarity with project, programme and financial management tools such as Oracle and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead delivery of a capital programme in line with client strategy.
• Interface between the area delivery team and senior business stakeholders.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Own projects from inception to handover and closeout, with robust governance.
• Develop and maintain project management plans, monitor interdependencies, mitigate risks.
• Oversee contract administration and NEC3/4 compliance across multiple projects.
• Ensure delivery of quality outcomes within budget and schedule.
