Job summary

The Little Green Energy Company is seeking a senior Project Manager to own solar PV and battery storage projects from contract award through to handover. You will plan, coordinate teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure safe, efficient delivery to high standards.

This is a senior, hands-on role with autonomy to shape project delivery and improve processes as the business grows. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the solar PV and/or battery storage industry, including end-to-end project delivery.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial-scale projects safely, on time and within budget.
• In-depth understanding of DNO processes, MCS, BS 7671, CDM 2015 and site health and safety requirements.
• Strong experience budgeting, forecasting, managing variations and protecting margins.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Confident leading installation teams, managing stakeholders and building relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: own projects from contract award to commissioning and handover.
• Project Planning: plan programmes, resources, procurement, design sign-off and approvals.
• On-Site Delivery: lead installation teams and subcontractors, run progress meetings and ensure quality and safety.
• Budget & Cost Management: own budgets, margins, cost control and valuations.
• Stakeholder Management: manage clients, suppliers, subcontractors and DNO relationships.
• Reporting & Performance: report progress, risks and financials to Head of Operations.
• Team Support & Process Improvement: support coordinators and improve project planning.
