We are part of the wider Oxford Instruments Group, which also includes Andor Technology, NanoScience, Plasma Technology, and X-Ray Technology. With a sixty-year history and fourteen Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, our world-class products and technologies help our customers address the greatest challenges of the 21st century.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Software Team. This role is ideal if…
  • You have a proven track record of delivering product development projects in a high-tech environment, orchestrating multiple projects across various teams.
  • You are experienced with releasing products that may contain new technology in terms of software and hardware.
  • You’re familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Issue tracking systems, and status reporting, and experienced in leading ‘agile’ projects using Scrum, KanBan, or similar approaches.
  • It would also be advantageous to have experience with configuring and using Azure DevOps.
  • You have a Physics or Science Degree and formal training in project management.
Location

We are based in High Wycombe (Cressex) and have hybrid working, which is particularly beneficial for this role due to the level of collaboration and interaction with other teams. While this role is best suited to someone being hybrid, we still welcome applications from those who may need to be considered on a remote basis (within the UK), with the expectation of necessary travel to High Wycombe when needed.
