Pertemps TM is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead a major smart building package on a City of London site. You will oversee ELV, BMS, energy, security and integration packages from delivery through to handover, coordinating the site team and reporting to the commercial function.

You will manage programming, cost control and risk while ensuring safety, quality and compliance on a high-value commercial project with a strong delivery focus.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ELV, BMS, or wider smart building packages.
• Strong project management background on major construction or engineering-led projects.
• Ability to manage cost, schedule, risk and quality on site.

Senior Project Manager – Smart Building Systems – Central London

Location: Central London
Salary: £80,000–£90,000, depending on experience
Package: £5,000 car allowance, 25 days’ holiday, Bupa healthcare and pension
Hours: 8:00am–5:0 pm, site-based

The Role

A Senior Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of smart building systems on a major commercial project in the City of London. This is a site-based role overseeing ELV, BMS, energy, security, communications and integration packages from delivery through to handover. You will be responsible for keeping the project on track, managing the team, controlling cost and programme, and making sure the work is delivered safely, commercially and to the required standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the site team and coordinate engineers, planners, commercial support, subcontractors and commissioning teams.
• Manage the programme, track progress and deal with issues before they impact delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing ELV, BMS, smart building, energy, security, communications or wider MEP packages.
• Strong project management background on major construction, fit-out or engineering-led projects.
• Good understanding of programme, cost, change, risk, quality and site delivery.
• Confident managing subcontractors and working with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to lead under pressure.

• Salary: £80,000–£90,000, depending on experience
