Senior Project Manager (Property & Buildings) - London

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Senior Project Managers with relevant expertise gained within a Property, Construction, or Infrastructure Consultancy, to join our growing Project Management Team in London. You will work with, and support, our Project Management Team on exciting large-scale, multi-million-pound projects within both the Public and Private Sectors.

A little more about your role…

  1. Working within a team, you will be supported by a Project Director and Associate Director to plan, control, and deliver activities during the pre-construction and construction stages.
  2. Engaging with clients, internal and external consultants, and specialist suppliers.
  3. Running project and design team meetings, preparing reports, minutes, and other documented deliverables.
  4. Communicating with other WSP teams across the UK.
  5. Progressing your projects and ensuring that activities are completed on time.
  6. Supporting our project management commissions to achieve safe, sustainable, and efficient outcomes.
  7. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, peers, and others who are influential in providing future business.
  8. Leading or supporting business development activities.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

  1. Demonstrable capability and experience in project management.
  2. Desire to grow and develop your project management career within a global business.
  3. Proven project management background within a consultancy environment, working as part of a project team and/or leading your own projects.
  4. Ability to coordinate and manage teams to consistently deliver projects.
  5. Passion for construction, innovation, and industry best practice initiatives.
  6. Working towards membership of a professional institution (such as MAPM).
  7. Hold a relevant degree or similar higher education qualification.
