Job summary

Medtronic is recruiting a Principal Project Manager for Digital Technologies R&D in the United Kingdom. You will lead cross‑functional teams spanning hardware and software to drive delivery of the next generation surgical technology in a regulated environment.

The role requires overseeing multiple complex programs, applying a range of PM methodologies, and ensuring timely, compliant results while communicating clearly with stakeholders and partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience in hardware and/or software development.
• Experience with a range of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Agile).
• Experience leading diverse and complex projects and programs; strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with regulated and/or safety-critical systems; medical device experience preferred.
• Degree in Engineering or related technical field; PM certification (PMP/Prince2/SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional development teams to design, implement and industrialize medical devices.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor and manage risks to achieve objectives.
• Oversee lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies across projects.
• Coordinate with functional and business partners; monitor progress and intervene as needed.
• Elicit and manage requirements to meet stakeholder demands and timelines.
