Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our expanding team, specializing in Heat Networks (HN) and Decentralized Energy (DE) across various commissions.

The role involves leading Project Management Commissions, overseeing end-to-end service delivery, often for large or complex projects. You will act as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Candidates should demonstrate experience or knowledge in Heat Network and broader Decentralized Energy projects, including systems like solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, smart grids, and EV charging integration.

Internal Management Accountabilities

• Staff management, including recruitment, resource planning, and staff appraisals.
• Knowledge management, inputting key insights into internal databases.
• Financial management, including client invoicing and project financial monitoring.
• Process improvement initiatives to enhance internal systems.

Reporting

Typically, a Senior Project Manager reports to an Area Manager, Associate Director, or Director.

Key Performance Indicators

• Managing projects to quality, time, and budget standards.
• Meeting client objectives and project KPIs.
• Effective leadership of project teams.
• Building strong client and team relationships.
• Managing business development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Monitoring financial health of projects.
• Effective communication and data management.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy project management within DE and HN sectors.
• Proven success in delivering DE schemes and meeting KPIs.
• Experience overcoming barriers in DE project stages such as feasibility, procurement, and delivery.
• Knowledge of DE technologies and government policies on HN.
• Chartered status preferred.
