Job Description

We are looking for experienced talents to join our growing team, bringing in further specialization in Heat Networks (HN) and Decentralized Energy (DE) across a range of projects.

The role involves leading Project Management Commissions, overseeing end-to-end service delivery, especially for large or complex projects. You will serve as the primary client interface, ensuring objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

We seek individuals with experience in HN and DE projects, including distributed, flexible, resilient, and low to zero carbon heat and power networks, systems, and resources such as solar PV, heat pumps, energy storage, demand flexibility, smart grids, and electric vehicle charging integration.

Internal Management Responsibilities

• Staff management, including recruitment, resource planning, and staff appraisals.
• Knowledge management, ensuring project learnings are documented.
• Financial management, including invoicing and project financial monitoring.
• Process improvement initiatives.

Reporting

Typically reports to an Area Manager, Associate Director, or Director.

Key Performance Indicators

• Project quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Client objectives and project delivery success.
• Effective team leadership and relationship building.
• Business development and cross-selling opportunities.
• Financial monitoring of projects.
• Data and information management.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultancy project management within DE and HN projects.
• Successful delivery of DE schemes across various organizations, meeting KPIs.
• Proven ability to navigate project stages like feasibility, commercialization, procurement, and delivery.
• Knowledge of DE technologies and government policies.
• Chartered status preferred.
