The Environment Agency is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead financial management within a major digital transformation programme. This role involves ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, managing complex financial information, and engaging with stakeholders to drive value for money. We offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and business management of the largest digital transformation program within the Environment & Business directorate. The Regulatory Services Programme aims to deliver digital services that will revolutionize environmental regulation.
You will lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO), providing valuable input into the financial and business management of the Programme. Your role will support risk mitigation, issue resolution, and removal of barriers to ensure alignment with the business case and value for money.
We seek a candidate with a proven track record in managing complex financial information, fostering collaboration, and driving value for money and ongoing investment.
You will work within the Digital, Innovation, and Programmes team, responsible for the Digital Strategy and its implementation. The team sets the strategic direction for digital services that transform environmental regulation.
You will collaborate with Defra shared services and third-party suppliers to develop user-centered online services and digital platforms that are efficient, simple, and fast.
This is a flexible, national role with an EA Office base location. Some travel and overnight stays may be required. Support will be provided for incident management objectives in your development plan. For more details, contact michelle.bartlett@environment-agency.gov.uk.
