Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Bristol is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion.

You will develop plans, manage budgets and schedules, collaborate with architects, engineers and clients, implement governance, assess risks, monitor change control, and mentor junior staff to deliver safe, sustainable, on-time outcomes. A PMP certification and consultancy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
• PMP certification.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet objectives.
• Implement project governance, processes, and systems across the lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project finances and manage change control processes.
• Facilitate clear communication through meetings and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers.
