Job summary

Brandon James Ltd in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio across Yorkshire and the North. You will own projects from feasibility through handover, coordinating design teams and managing programmes, risk, and stakeholders with a strong client focus.

Ideally you have significant UK construction consultancy PM experience, a relevant degree, and progression toward chartership.

Qualifications

• Significant Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy.
• Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages.
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or another relevant construction discipline.
• MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualification, or demonstrable progress towards chartership.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes and construction contracts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong programme, risk and project governance experience.
• A commercially aware and organised approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through multiple RIBA stages and ensure client objectives are understood and delivered.
• Prepare and manage programmes, coordinate design teams, develop procurement strategies.
• Oversee risk and change control, chair project meetings and provide clear client reporting.

Job description

A well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Leeds is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Senior Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio of projects throughout Yorkshire and the wider North, supporting major clients across a range of property and construction sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants greater responsibility, strong client exposure and the chance to work on technically interesting schemes.

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of projects from early feasibility and design through procurement, construction and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, the Senior Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams while managing programme, risk, quality and stakeholder expectations. This position would suit a confident Senior Project Manager who enjoys a varied workload and is looking to progress within an established consultancy environment.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead projects through multiple RIBA stages, ensuring client objectives are understood and successfully delivered.
